I believe these guys are dealing with/ believing it is rear tires, which is a much bigger deal with a lot more sweat involved; you mentioned they were simple fronts, which is a pretty simple process on the tire changer - about 5 minutes per tire & he would have time to chat besides. His total labor would be to lift the assembly about 3 times & press some switches. Just watched them do it this fall on my compact fronts which are kinda beefy ag tires, and that truely was the whole process, was 10 minues from my pickup tailgate back to the pickup tailgate for the pair. He was dealing with another customer at the same time, figuring out the right tires for that guy. If I'm understanding right? Now, if they were extra special tough, dirty, or had ever been filled than yea the price goes up some, but $5-10 per front is pretty standard around here - considering the quote was given.
