We bought one about a year ago and love it, no burn in, 1/2 the cost of LCD or plasma, thinner than CRT, not as thin as LCD and plasma. Doesn't weigh much (our 56 inch is about 100 pounds). We love the picture and they are supposed to be very reliable - we've had no problems in a year. I was originally looking at plasma or LCD but after a lot of research I got the DLP and have no regrets- it's a pretty cool techhology also - millions of little mirrors on a computer chip. We got HD vs. ED, and are happy with it. Only drawback is is takes about 10-15 seconds to warm up......not really a big deal.
