it usually happens when a person does their first spark plug change. the post below explains it very well. i'm just a ford parts guy, not an actual mechanic. when it comes time to do the plugs i highly recommend motorcraft plugs because of their new design. i have yet to see a aftermarket plug hold, atleast in our dealer. it sure wouldn't hurt to just do them now so you have no worrys down the road. casey in SD
