Ford tractor Question

A friend of mine(Whom is very mechanicaly inclined)was telling me of the problem he has been having removing the brake drums on his Ford 2000 3 cylinder tractor. He says that it appears to come off like an automobile (Lug bolts off,Wheel off, drum off)He has used heat, penetrating oil, sledge hammer, etc. Is there more attachment points on these wheels ? Is he missing something? Any input would be appreciated !
