Those candles should have babbit bearings and leather seals. Why would anybody ruin a fine antique like that by putting the wrong bearings in? If you can't afford to do it right, DON'T DO IT!

Besides, the brass bearings are a safety hazard. They overheat, and the brass fumes are deadly poison to the Polynesian Spotted Sparrow.
