Lots of things could be going on here, Elmer, over on the Case Board is the guru of DB's. Try posting over there, he's forgotten more about these than most folks ever know. Water can be a real problem on these. Shifter boots leak, top cover lets water in if seal is bad (seam right under seat). If you have water in it and a loader, need to blow out the lines to get it out (been there, done that). I'd keep the pressure filter, these hydraulic systems are more pickey than most. Stiff clutch is just cold grease (clutch runs dry in a 1210). At 10 degrees F, I warm mine up for 20 mins before use at 1400 rpm to warm the oil before moving the hydraulics.
