Ron, Sounds like you've covered the bases. However, if you are getting black smoke when you pull the choke, sounds like you have fuel and it must be an ignition thing. Is that ignition switch getting hot and going south on ya? How about the air cleaner? Is it plugged? Dunno, Allan
