Alright Mark!!! Was that called for? LOL! While I agree that it really smarts to hear of a red one going belly up, I kinda know where this young feller is coming from. Those engines that they use in the tech schools have been torn apart and put back together so darned many times that the threads are all completely worn out, there are no tolerances left in the things and it really surprises me that it even still ran. Let's face it, a "studentized" engine is really far beyond being ready for the iron pile anyway. But, I guess what really amuses me about this whole thread is that everyone jumps on this kid for burning up an engine "for sport" when half of those throwin' the rocks at him can't wait for Sunday afternoon to roll around so they can go get a belly full of beer and then go out & pull the guts out of a perfectly good farm tractor at a local tractor pull. But, I guess certain 'pre-qualified abuse' to a machine is okay if you're ‘older’, if you "know better" and if you are doing it in the name of good honest “fun”. Yep, I'm a certified "tractor-hugger". :>) Allan
