I think one could make a go of it if you don't limit yourself to tractors. I dont know the market in your area but people crash cars all the time every where. If you can do body work you can take in crashes to keep beans on the table while you build your business. I'm retired and love working on stuff, but I have neighbors bringing in more car and trucks then tractors. I figured if I started charging maybe it will slow down and I can get some of my own projects done. I don't buy this no jobs bit. I could get more work then I could handle if I wasn't lazy. But not just on tractors. A lot more cars break then tractors. They will allow you to get your enterprise started.
