Top boom support 5 ft lower boom 6 ft hitch 20 inches between bolts holding support and boom. Hitch is made out of 2 1/2 X 1/4 inch Box steel. Boom is made out of 2 X 1/4 inch Box steel and the top support is two sections of 2 inch X 1/4 inch Angle Iron with double Shear points of 5/8" grade 8 bolts. All bolts on boom is in Double shear along with the top link. Only the lower link pins (7/8") are in single shear. There are 2 side bending liminting angle supports 3 ft long bolted into the sides of the hitch and boom made out of 2 X 1/4 inch Angle Iron. Both ends of the boom are pluged welded to stop distortion of the ends at the bolts. Brackets welded to the sides of the boom in the middle so the boom is not weakend by drilling a hole in it. Tip Lifting point is a 1/2" Case Harden D-Ring welded into 3/8 steel along with a 1/4" cap on the end of the box welded to it. The angle was either 22 or 27 degrees on the boom I can't remember right now. Mark H.
