As stated below, the 3208 was not one of Cat's better ideas. The 6.9 you have is probably more reliable. A 3116 Cat might make an interesting swap or a 6BT5.9 cummins. I also know a guy that put a Hino engine in an F250. That was just a pure widow maker, but it worked good. If you decide to convert, I would love to hear the story after, and see some pics.
