The majority of batteries are made by just a few manufacturers. So most of the time it is more a case of the price and the dealer's service and/or warranty that makes the difference. Some automotive battery warranties are halved if they know you put it in a tractor or any sort of equipment. This said, the local NAPA parts house has been very good about adjustments and not caring what battery is used in. I personally put the highest CCA & reserve amp rated battery in the battery box I can afford from the best dealer who is the easiest to deal with. In other words you need to look beyond the price of purchasing the battery. Most warranties don't make much difference after the halfway point is reached in the total months used.
