The 3208 is a bottom line engine from Cat. That engine has been used in several applications ranging from White four wheel drive tractors to light trucks, From what we have seen they don't last more then 2500 hours then must be rebuilt. They were nick-named sewing machine engines by Cat mechanics. No lugging power, etc.just didn't live up to Cat's reputation.
