Most tractors are set up for 1 hour of running at exactly pto speed to equal 1 hour of real time. So if you are running max rpm plowing or something the tractor clock will appear fast, and if you are idling running a cement mixer the tractor clock will apear slow.... It is actually a revolution counter, not a true measure of time. Some of the newer electronic meters operate differently, counting real hours..... --->Paul
