I can think of a number of solutions and since I have an 8N w/ side distributor, but haven't had to rebuild the distributor, I'm blue skying. I have a small lathe and I would turn out bushing of brass or porous bronze if I needed them. A small machine shop could do that easily. The other option is a catalog I got from a friend in NC from an outfit in NC that sells about anything one might need for the N series of Fords. They even manufacture their own replacements for out of stock stuff having some of the big machines, molds and fixtures. ONE problem, I have to find it. And I'll give it a try in my less than systematic filing system. The catalog is worth the price since it has excellent parts break-out views and numbers for about every part and assembly.
