It worked for painting fine,but with 17 rooms in my house to paint,each one a different color it wasnt worth the hassel to keep stopping and cleaning the roller,or worth the money to chagne it each time,they are like 8 bucks each.With the primer,it was all one color,didnt need to switch rollers or clean it out for a differnet color.The tube itself had to be cleaned out and the paint can adapter thing had to be cleaned out each time.I bought the cheapo pans and rolers and the 15 rooms that I did with it dooesnt look any different than with the tube.
