The best thing that could happen to this country is for California to fall off into the Pacific...... We keep hearing about emissions this and emissions that but if it was such a HUGE problem why isn't there more money being spent to either make the cars cleaner or to find a cheap, truely viable alternative and not all of these sub sub compact pieces of crap they currently produce. Personally I say we need to go back to the old carburated engines from 20+ years ago. I've got a '78 jeep J-10 with a 360 engine and according to the last emission inspection I had done it burns as clean as a new car and the only emissions equippment it has is the "smog pump". The main thing is I can spend $30 and tune it up myself in the backyard as often as I want instead of having to rearrange my schedule to take it to a dealership somewhere and let them spend two days and $500 on it......Just my .02
