Close cause there are some very well to do people that didn't want President Bush reelected.

Apparently there are lobby groups that don't fit the requirements for political parties and therefore are not limited in how much any one person can donate.

Understand that these groups were paid handsomely to degrade Bush, via media advertising and things of the sort.

Read this in a national magazine but don't remember which. There was at least one guy; one of these "richest guy in the world" types. May have been more doing it.

But I did read it.
