In this area of Florida we have smallish deer, but the big damage causers are black bears. About a mile from me a guy hit a 400-pounder and totaled his pickup.

A friend out in Colorado hit a moose and the body went into his windshield -- fatal for the moose and nearly fatal for the friend.
