I think, if you are going to have live steam tractors, your safest bet would be to have every tractor operating at your show be completely rebuilt in the boiler area, anywhere live steam is going to contact it! And have them inspected by boiler/ live steam inspectors!
Yes, it is neat to see the old timers operating, but you have to have them safely running! I get a little "antsy" standing near a live steamer, especially if there is no current inspection label/ plate on it!
