mattie, mattie, mattie. Let me tell you something. I am a phone guy by trade. Phones (that thing hangin' on your kitchen wall) are almost a thing of the past. Many companies are doing away with their PBX's and replacing them with "voice over IP". It won't be long when you will be plugging in a phone into the back of your PC at home and using an IP address from a website to talk to people. Yeah, you can do it now in reverse with ISDN/DSL, but there will come a time when you'll get a more competitive rate through a website, using their WAN/LAN and T1 network trunking. I have a friend that does a 3 way video conference with his father and brother every Sunday and has for years. I go into libraries to repair video conference systems because some little kid isn't satisfied with the "tiling" he's experiencing while talking with his buddy in Tokyo. Let these fellers go, they're cutting edge, and it keeps me working. And that kitchen wall phone in your house? Take it out and set it on a fence post, then take aim with that 30.06.
