I went through much the same thing a few years back on shares of a corn crop. (Last time I did anything other than cash rent) I had 190 acres to rent or share. It wouldn't quit raining. I never managed to get a crop in the ground on this acreage. Fortunatly, the land owner thought the same way most all the replies did. He shared in the loss, just like he would have the gain if there would have been one. That's what honesty and character are all about....John
