As long as she isn't freezing to death or starving. The kindest thing to do is have her pay for what she gets, no free rides.
It will help her in the long run. Don't want to lower her self respect teaching her to be a mouch. Worse yet she may start down that slippery slope of trading smiles and them more and more in order to make a living.
