I had the same thing happen, but not a young girl, just a guy I know. He had no propane. I needed no help at the time, but I cannot see a person I know suffer if I can help. He offered labor if I would help with his propane. It kinda put a cramp in my checkbook when I did not need that hit. I feel like maybe if I am in a bind sometime, it will come back around. As the saying goes, "you reap what you sow." We all know where your heart is, so we all know the outcome on this one. Have her do cleaning at the shop, paperwork, etc. It may not save you much money, but it will give you more time for yourself to do other things to recoup the expense of the work you do for her.
