The ford 3000 is newer, has more gears, has true live pto, and three point hitch. It also has wide front, and is a real handy utility tractor. The wd-45 probably has at least as much power, can likely pull more, and can get the same job done. More people like the convenience, and accesories the fords offer, so they bring a premium price.
