If you live in a region with unstable weather i.e., Florida you may find the Dish a little agrivating. Every time it rains the signal is lost. The basic programing package includes mostly junk with the exception of the History, Discovery and some news stations. If you enjoy I Love Lucy, Home Shopping viewing and as few dozen music stations, you'll love it. Just in case all you are planning on is the basic package, hold on to your pants. Their marking people will drive you nuts trying to get you to expand to the million channels of absolute crap 'till you cave in. Many of the special package movies you can find at Wal Mart for $5.00.
