Hey, I'll still talk to you. I recognize that pump. Have had one for years but never could find a manafold to hook it up to various things. To your question, I think it would be wise to have some kind of pressure bypass. That pump might have a pretty high volume..more that the other unit can handle. I have in my junk box some little valves that were designed to bypass "shock" loads when running hyd motors. Some think like that? Or even tie in an old gresen valve some where in the circuit?
