#2 in the cold

You are at about the nothern edge of where #2 fuel oil can be used year around. At about -30F #2 thickens and won't flow to your furnace/fuel-pump. One winter I counted 25 semis on the edge of the freeway between Menominie & St Paul when the temp hit -40F. They bought cheaper #2 fuel in the south (Madison perhaps) and sat on the side of the road until it warmed up.
