In my town, upper class working folks that dont like trashy stuff. About 4 years ago a guy opens up an adult book store on the main drag and then all the upstanding people in the area protest (like you mentioned) and then this will kill ya. A bunch of residents got together to buy him out and shut down his business. That is stupid cause then it just sets up the next guy to set up another sleazy place so he can get paid off too. The residents should have waited until the guy didnt get any sales and then he wouldnt be able to pay the rent to the owner of strip mall and then he is gone. So far nobody has set up an adult bookstore since the first guy tried.
