Finally got 60 acres cut, been having some hydraulic problems with the combine. On sandy gravel in extreme northern In (South Bend area) and surprisingly they yielded 46 bpa! Last year we averaged 27 bpa. Curious as to what our muck and clay do. Heard of near 70 bpa over by Bremen on the heavy clay and richer soils. Wish I would have contracted more than 3000 bu for that $7.62, argh!
