There's all kinds selling stuff today. I called about a tractor in a newspaper ad.The ad discribed the tractor and price was $7500 OBO. I called the guy right away and made an appointment to see him that evening I was to be the first one to set up a time to meet him. I tried to call him later to confirm appointment but could not get ahold of him. I was also wondering about that price as it seemed too low ? He never mentioned it on the phone. Well I hooked up the trailer rounded up the money in cash and headed out arrived on time only to see someone else was there before me. I was told I was to be the first one to see it. I then found out that it was BEST OFFER OVER $7500 I could not get him to put a price on it.Said he had to give the others a call back first and would call me back later. Well he never called me back so I called him the next day and chewed him out for running an auction and not even giving anyone a chance to bid. I did not get the tractor but lucky for him I made an offer that made him get more money from the other guy. I stopped offering because I saw no end in site and said the heck with it.
