You kind of gave a confusing explination. Is the problem that your tractor does not turn well? Or is the problem when you stop, aim forward, both front wheels are pointing in different directions? It is normal for the wheels to point slightly differently on a sharp turn - you should check lined up straight. The confusing part is 'both wheels cocked sideways' - what does that mean? Not familiar with your tractor, but most wide front linkages the top of that shaft you are talking about is toothed, and the bracket that goes on it is toothed, and a big nut clamps them together. Nothing to adjust inside the down-tube. --->Paul
