This is just a eazy way to fix your pto shaft from wobbling too much if you can"t fix it the right way (buying a new shaft...) My 1971 ford 3000"s pto shaft is warn bad. The yoke will just wobble like crazy when I"m hooked up to any pto equmint type. I add a extention to it and it worked for a wile. But when I mowe I have to have an override so the mower dose not push me around. So this makes the pto realy wobble. So last nite I got tired of it and took it off to see what I could do. I got a 1" toe strap and cut it about 4" long. Put it over the shaft on the tractor and pushed the extention back on. With the help of a hammer it fit realy tight after it was bolted and putting the pto shaft from the mower on I headed out to mow. It worked GREAT. No wobble at all. Time will only tell but it will work till I can get the money to buy the pto shaft from NH. Just my way of making do.......
