Mine was frozen up a few years also and I eventually got it free with a lot of WD40 and persistance but it might not have been as bad as yours. As for a replacement I can"t imagine the part being discontinued. I looked in the catalog at www.jdparts.com and found the part and it was listed for $59.00 (Just the locking mechanism not the lift arm) For the late model 4020"s it was part number AR69317 but in the comment section it said it was replaced by part number AR90082 which is the one used on the early model 4020"s. I"d call the dealership back up and ask them if they had or could get part number AR90082. If that doesn"t work or is too much then you could try a salvage yard. I have bought several parts from Neslon Parts in NY. I"ve only bought a few things from him but his prices seemed to be pretty good. He advertises in Lancaster Farming and his number is 1-800-730-4020. I have no connection to him other than purchased a few parts. BTW. www.jdparts.com is a great site, all you have to do is register and then you can log on and see the parts catalog and get prices.
