Well, sad but true. I catch myself in daily conversations (in a professional environment) where lots of slang and jargons are the commonplace. But they are quick, require no thought (etiquette, punctuation, grammar, spelling), and they communicate. So, they get used. Funny, when I talk to a suppler or customer elsewhere in the US, first thing they do is ask "Ya'll from Dallas? Grin Mark
