I once worked on a small wheel loader with a Hatz air cooled engine. The cab was heated with a propane heater. IT is generally not easy to tap into the air box of those engines, if you could. Personally, i would not want to heat a cab like that. Think of the stray combustion gases (stink tube etc.) blowing in your face. Propane is not that expensive.
