My wife bought a TORO Z Master, 17hp Kawasaki and a 44" cut. It will mow as fast as you can stay in the seat. Don't be fooled by the Lowes/Menards/Farm Store cheapies, they may only cost $3000, but if you are mowing 2.5 acres you will trash one in a couple of seasons. We mow about 5 acres with the Toro and a Grasshopper. BTW, the Toro was about $4000 less than a comparable Grasshopper, damn they are proud of the brown paint.
