You're right about that. I remember those days. Give the boots a day to dry and air out, but I don't practice that part of what the Army taught me. Somewhere in the attic is a duffle bag that's been locked since the day I put it up there 25 years ago. In it are two pairs of jumps that I'll bet mice and spiders probably turned into condominiums. Hmm? One day I'll look, maybe, maybe not. Maybe I'll just put that duffle bag out into a field and take a couple of shots at it first, just to see if a coon or something else comes out before I open it.
