Ron, I might not be as big as you are, but I'm 6'2", weigh 200 lb. and wear size 13 shoes. I've used Mason boots for nearly thirty years now, and I don't even bother trying anything else. I buy 6" high boots. The ones that I buy currently cost just a little bit less than $100 (when I started using their shoes they cost about $40). I seldom polish them or put any kind of waterproofing on them. I've never yet worn out a sole or heel on any pair, and the uppers always last 3 or 4 years. The shoestrings usually last a couple of years so my only expense between new ones is to buy a set of shoestrings every once in a while. Good luck, Tom in TN
