I would look at amsoil 15-40 marine oil. good stuff A guy had a pete with a 3406 cat, ay 600000 he traded her off . Dealer had him major it to raise value. When they pulled sleves the hone marks were still like new.bearing the same not bad for 100,000 mile oil changes.
