Unfortunately, I was in Germany on a 3 month internship when it came to Grant county. After I returned from running on a harvest crew out west the following summer, I ended up working for the guy who held it. Wish I coulda been there but wouldn't trade going to it for the experiance I gained in Germany.

I hear the Amish were running thier equipment for the pleasure of the crowds. They use modern equipment on horses. Have 469 Haybines and 336 balers w/engines. Seems to me if they're going that far to get around thier beliefs, they may as well give up and buy a tractor.

The several I've been to were excellent learning opportunities.
