If you're going to try pulling it in gear (3rd) to see if the engine turns over, pull those plugs first. If a cylinder(s) have fluid (water, etc) in them, and the fluid has nowhere to go, it will hydraulic at the cost of a connecting rod. Was it running when it "seized"? What is seized? Are you saying the motor won't turn over (budge)? Are you saying motor will run, tractor won't budge when release the clutch in gear?

What happened? Engine quit, lost oil pressure and knocked like crazy until quit? Valve stuck and slapped a piston? Had no coolant and seized? Engine runs, tractor won't move? brakes won't release because someone has the brake handles locked (locks at base of both handles flipped down). If engine runs but won't budge forward after releasing the clutch, try reverse to free up the shoes/linings if has been setting.

No matter what you mean by "seized", it's probably best to do with the tractor not running so don't cause any/more damage. Rock it, pull it, whatever.

Guess most important is what you mean by "seized". Under what exact conditions is it "seized"? Try to start/turn over? Move? At what point does it fail?
