I have a 1952 Ford 8N, terrific on my 6 acres for hobby
farming (discing, mowing, grading, etc.). If that's what
you're planning, fine - they're relatively cheap, easy to fix
and get parts for, good-looking too. But there are limits to
what they can do - they're in the low range for ooomph.
Perhaps ask around, soon enough you'll meet someone
who's got one, ask if you can try it out. Most Ford
enthusiasts would be glad to let you test-drive.
