I'll tell you what, I read your post and it sounded a lot like I heard a guy call inro Rush yesterday, not word for word, but pretty dxxx close.

My job takes me to a lot of places, including a joint military installation in Kankakee, IL., and what I hear you saying is not what I hear those fine men and women saying. What I hear you saying I can get from Captain Dan The Newsman Blather (did he resign yet over those forged documents he touted on 60 Minutes II the other night?). What I hear from troops that are in Iraq does in no way echo what I hear in the media.

That joint military installation has had 5 deployments to Iraq that I know of, and lost a soldier from St. Anne, IL. early on, but by God those guys stand behind our President Bush. Let me repeat myself, those soldiers in harms way (combat) stand behind our President Bush, coming from their mouths, not yours or Captain Dan's. Who should I believe? Those soldiers, or the likes of Captain Dan and the libs?

Not everything is going perfect there, that's true. And if they'd get the civilians and the politicians fingers out of it, and turn our troops loose (take their handcuffs off), the job would be over, would've been over.

The thing that makes me so sick, is that the same lib politicians that are complaining about Iraq are the same ones that are tying our troops hands over there, but don't have the genitals to admit it.

You really struck a nerve there, Sir. You really, really did.

When I get off of here, I'll email a couple of close friends of mine from that from those units and ask them to post here on this topic. Let you, Captain Dan, Pxxxx (appendage) Jennings, and the rest of them hear it from those that know first hand, and not some clueless blowhard lib on the Senate Arms Committee that has never spent a day in his or her life in a military uniform telling those in combat how it's going for them.

As for Captain Dan, after what he pulled the other night, I offered to send him a certain tool that we use on male horses, on loan, to turn them into geldings, and I gave him instructions on how to use them on himself. I even offered to come do it for him, and he'd like. He hasn't emailed me back yet. Maybe I'll just clean up a pair and send them to him anyway.

Tomorrow, I'll be working an Indy race in Joliet, and I don't know that start time, something like 12:30 CST on ABC TV? Not sure about the time. There will be a 200' x 300' American flag rolled out just prior to the beginning of the race, with a gazillian red, white, and blue ballons released along with it. That flag will be unrolled by many of the same 300 US Navy seabies (male and female) that unrolled it prior to the ARCA race today. Those 300 young Navy seabies are from the Great Lakes Naval Station, and they all have at least one thing in common. They are all young AIT trainees that enlisted long after the Iraq war started. AFTER THE IRAQ WAR STARTED, and I'm damn proud of each and every last one of them, and the rest of our soldiers.

May God bless these United States of America, and our troops that give us the "RIGHT" to desent, even those that fail to realize that if much of their desent actually happened, God would not protect them from those that want to kill them for no other reason than being American - It takes our military, always has, always will. Terrorists did not give anyone in this country their American right to do anything.
