For non poisonous antifreeze that won't kill pets, wildlife and kids use propylene glycol instead of ethylene glycol. About the same price too.
Won't ruin bearings if some leaks into the crankcase as well.
Long life or not, test the coolant with a ph test strip yearly. A slightly seeping head gasket etc will turn new coolant acid in short order.
Of course mix with distilled or demineralized water. Tap water always contains disolved minerals that will plate out in the cooling system and affect the ph of the coolant.
