Yes Shep it is not looking good is it. It has weakened a little but a 3 is still a very strong storm. If it weakens just a little more from that dry air over west Fla. that is being drawn into it; that may knock it down to a 2 and while not good that is a lot better than a 4. Seems every advisory puts it coming in just a little farther north. The big problem is it is slowing down and looks to be a long hard ride and is going to make for a big flooding rain for the whole state. Looks like it may go just to your west; which is going to put you in that north east quarter of the storm. Scared ????? You do not need to be in Fla. to be scared. Every one from NC to TX knows anything can happen and a tracking map is just a guess. To all in FLA. Hunker down; prepare for the worse and pray for the best. It is not going to be a pretty weekend. Here's wishing all of you in FLA the best.
