Well in my opinion for what it is worth that ruined his restoration and the representation became fraudulant. If he had the money time and werewithal to do a proper trailer queen restoration he could have had an origianl serial tag made. If he did not know the actual # the unknown digits should be replaced with x's No different than replacing a VIN Plate on a road vehicle.
