The engine and transmission are reliable. Just depends on how you take care of them. I currently own a 5010 with almost 8,000 untouched hours on it and a 5020 with 5,2XX hrs. I farm in 5020 country and there are still some being used around here. I think the more important question is "what are you going to use our 5020 for if you buy one".
