If you can"t find any marks on the flywheel to line up as suggested below, a quick check to find out if the flywheel or clutch driver is indexed correctly is to use a piece of wire thru the spark plug hole to get the piston on top dead center, and check to see if the counterweight is exactly opposite(at the3 o"clock position on the flywheel or 9 o"clock on the clutch driver). Use the wire to feel when the piston is at the top. Mike
