thanks RWK I was wondering if there was some kind of glue or some thing like permatex # one that might work-- also if they had put some ridges on the copper part like nylon pipe fittings it would not fall out- leave it to homelite-- they were the best saw on the market for a long time-- My uncle had a dealership for 50 yrs. "past on" I still have 5 of these saws and this is the only prob. what a pain. for your info Home Depot is handling them now- but no help there.
